Buller Central – Terms & Conditions

All Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notice.

Rates & Occupancy

  • Rates are based on twin share (2 guests per room).

  • Extra guests (adults or children over 5) are charged per person, per night.

  • The property is not suitable for children under 5. Bookings for children under 5 cannot be accepted.

  • Maximum occupancy: 4 guests per room (queen + single bunk).

    • A maximum of 3 adults per room may be booked online. Adults are not permitted to use the top bunk unless approved by management.

Meals

  • Breakfast is not included.

  • Guests may purchase breakfast at The Little Villager Café (downstairs) or at other nearby venues.

Minimum Stay

  • A 2-night minimum stay applies to all bookings.

Age Requirements

  • Minimum child guest age: 5 years.

  • You must be 18 or older to make a booking.

  • Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 21, unless approved by management in advance.

  • Photo identification is required at check-in. Guests who do not meet these requirements may be refused accommodation at management’s discretion.

Payment

  • Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival.

  • Payments are processed securely through our booking system.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: from 4:00pm.

    • Guests must arrive by 8:00pm (midweek) or 10:00pm (weekends).

    • Late arrivals may incur a check-in fee of up to $100 per room.

    • Please provide your estimated arrival time at booking and notify us of any changes.

  • Check-out: strictly by 10:00am.

Luggage Storage

  • Luggage can be stored in our ski room before check-in and after check-out.

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, including entrance alcoves.

Food & Beverages

  • Light snacks are permitted in rooms.

  • Cooking is not allowed in rooms.

  • Disorderly behaviour, intoxication, or excessive noise will not be tolerated. Guests who breach this rule may be evicted without refund.

Allergies

  • Management cannot guarantee that food provided on site is allergen-free.

  • Guests should assume that all food may contain traces of nuts or other allergens.

Cancellation & Amendments

  • 30+ days before arrival: Full refund.

  • Within 30 days of arrival: No refund.

  • Subject to availability, you may request a change of dates by contacting sales@bullercentral.com.au.

  • No refunds will be provided for weather events, illness, transport disruptions, or circumstances outside the hotel’s control.

  • Guests are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance to cover cancellations due to unforeseen events.

Force Majeure

  • Buller Central is not liable for any refund or compensation if your booking is affected by events outside our control, including (but not limited to): natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, resort closure, pandemics, or loss of utilities.

Pets

  • Pets are not permitted at Buller Central.

  • Please note pets are also not permitted at Mt Buller without a permit.

Liability

  • Guests are liable for any damage, loss, or costs caused to rooms, property, or premises due to non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

  • Buller Central reserves the right to charge such costs to the credit card on file or by other means.

  • Management reserves the right to evict guests without refund for:

    • breaching property rules,

    • causing a disturbance, or

    • endangering others.

Security Deposit

  • A credit card security deposit up to $500 may be requested at check-in, at management’s discretion.

Third-Party Bookings

  • Agoda bookings: Agoda sometimes misrepresents our property and rates.

  • We do not offer a “kids stay free” policy.

  • Any unpaid children arriving with a booking will be charged $150 per child, per night, on arrival.

Privacy

  • Buller Central (ABN: 67 107 967 402) respects your privacy.

  • Information collected for bookings is used only for managing reservations and guest communication.

  • We do not provide personal information to third parties without consent.

  • Guests may opt out of receiving marketing communications.
